Neat Concludes Season with Thirteenth Place Run in
DTWC...
Brad
Neat and his #41 team closed out their version of the 2011 racing
season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale on October
14-15 at the newly renamed Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The
31st Annual 'Dirt Track World Championship' drew ninety competitors
to the south-central Ohio facility, all of whom were gunning for
the hefty $50,000 top prize. Due to persistent rain showers on
Friday night, the entire show was condensed into a one-day program
starting Saturday afternoon.
Brad timed in thirty-second fastest in his group
during time trials and later finished thirteenth in his loaded
heat race. After pulling up lame in his B-Main, Brad took use
of a series provisional to gain access into the 100-lap crown
jewel event. With single file racing the norm all day and no track
prep, the DTWC featured virtually no passing as well. The Dunnville,
Kentucky native started twenty-sixth on the grid and finished
thirteenth in the final rundown after attrition took its toll
on the field. Following the season finale, Brad was credited with
an eighth place finish in the final Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series point standings. Full results can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Brad Neat Knocks Down Top Ten in Dixie Shootout!
The
Bobby Labonte Racing (BLR) team and driver Brad Neat followed
the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail south to the Peachtree
State of Georgia for a doubleheader on October 8-9. On Saturday
night, the Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia played host to
the annual $10,000 to win 'Dixie Shootout.' Brad grabbed the fourth
transfer spot through his loaded heat race and later rolled off
fifteenth on the grid in the 50-lap main event. In front of a
large crowd and the cameras of the SPEED Channel, the Dunnville,
Kentucky native blasted past eight competitors during the 'Dixie
Shootout' en route to a solid seventh place performance.
On Sunday evening, the doubleheader weekend wrapped
up with the $10,000 to win 'Rome Showdown' at the Rome Speedway
in Rome, Georgia. Brad ran third in heat race action at Rome and
later started tenth in the 50-lapper. Unfortunately, he brought
out the caution on lap 39 and retired from the race in the twenty-first
position. Brad currently finds himself tied for seventh in the
latest LOLMDS point standings following Rome. Full results from
the weekend can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Neat in Action During Knoxville Late Model Nationals
Brad
Neat and the Bobby Labonte Racing (BLR) team ventured west to
the historic Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa from September
29-October 1 for the 8th Annual 'Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville
Nationals.' The crown jewel extravaganza kicked off with a pair
of $7,000 to win prelims at the 1/2-mile facility. On Thursday
night, Brad grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his
heat race and later wound up seventeenth in the 25-lapper. The
Dunnville, Kentucky ace unfortunately failed to transfer into
Friday's $7,000 to win semifeature after finishing eighth in his
heat race and twenty-third in the B-Main.
After taking a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
provisional to gain access into the $40,000 to win 'Lucas Oil
Late Model Knoxville Nationals' on Saturday evening, Brad rolled
off from the outside of the sixteenth row. In front of the high-definition
cameras of the SPEED Channel in the 100-lapper, Brad passed a
few cars early in the race prior to retiring in the thirty-first
position. Complete results from the huge weekend at Knoxville
can be accessed online at www.lucasdirt.com.
